FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Northern Ireland Delegation set for Atlanta
A delegation of senior managers from Northern Ireland will be attending the world's largest training and development conference in Atlanta during the first week of June 2007. The delegation, lead by Gerry Beamish, will take part with over 10000 other delegates in 250 concurrent sessions, keynote speakers and an exhibition of over 400 training providers. The American Society for Training and Development's Annual International Conference attracts participants from all over the world. delegations from Asia, Australia, Africa, Europe and South America will mingle with managers from the USA and Canada in a unique opportunity to listen to leading world authorities on all aspects of training and development and to share problems and experiences with each other. North Americans make up 80 % of the audience with special interest groups from manufacturing industry, financial institutions, IT, Federal, State and Local government agencies. South Korea has lead the way in recent years with the largest non-American delegation and in Europe the Dutch have been the most conspicuous. Northern Ireland has been sending a small delegation for nearly twenty years and this year Invest Northern Ireland is encouraging its client companies to take advantage of this opportunity to update their training knowledge.
